Acer recently announced a new model of a gaming monitor dubbed “Acer XR342CK” to replace the older XR341CK. This gaming monitor has by far the most impressive 34-inch UltraWide Curved FreeSync with IPS panel technology.
As reported by 144hzmonitor: “The Acer XR342CK introduces a significantly steeper curve and other new design features. First of all, the curvature is now 1900R instead of 3800R that the previous model, XR341CK offers, which makes the curve of the new Acer XR342CK twice as steep as the older model.”
In addition, the new monitor has a cool ambient lighting system facing downwards under the monitor and can be set to different colours, such as green, red, blue and white. The display of the monitor has 50Hz maximum refresh rate, however you can opt to set a refresh rate which will be carried out by the monitor on its own.
Furthermore, the monitor is armed with a 7W stereo DTS speakers and supports HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort and has four USB 3.0 ports.
The release date will be sometime in March in Europe with a starting price of €1,099 (or roughly RM5,090).
