Wait no more – Super Mario Run is coming to Android, Nintendo America has confirmed in a tweet.

The Android edition is set to be available on March 23rd, in time for version 2.0 of the game. According to Engadget, the update will expand its character list from the current 6, and will let free players take on World 1-4 if they complete a challenge.

The game first hit iOS in December and the Android version has been available for pre-registration on Google PLay Store since December last year. Despite it being exclusively on iOS previously, the game still managed to take in  $53 million in revenue before the end of January.

While there isn’t much details announced, the bright side is the wait isn’t that long – so fans will know fairly soon what Nintendo has in store for them.
