Samsung launches Series 7 CHRONOS Notebook
Following the success of its top-of-the-line Samsung Series 9 CHRONOS Notebook, the Korean IT giant have unveiled the Samsung Series 7 CHRONOS Notebook. Possessing a sleek design with a premium chassis and cutting-edge specifications, the Samsung Series 7 promises speed, quality and performance. For a powerful computing experience, the new notebook runs on a Intel Core i5 Quad Core processor with ExpressCache technology, adding 8GB of flash memory on the motherboard. This results in an increase in performance, faster start-up and it just takes two seconds for the notebook to wake up from sleep mode.

We believe that the Series 7 CHRONOS Notebook represents the peak of personal computing.”
The Samsung Series 7 CHRONOS Notebook offers an immersive viewing experience with the latest ‘MAX screen’ technology which adds an extra inch of space on the display. With a thinner bezel, users can enjoy a larger display on a 14-inch model without compromising mobility.
Prakash Mallya, Intel Malaysia and Brunei Country Manager says, “PC users today demand for lighter and sleeker PC devices that they can carry along on-the-go without all the bulk and weight. We at Intel believe that the Series 7 CHRONOS Notebook can serve this purpose and will be able to provide a satisfying personal computing experience for the users with Intel Core i5.”

During the launch, Samsung also introduced three new printer series: – the Samsung SCX-3400 Series Multifunction Printers (MFP), the Samsung ML-2160 Series Laser Printers and the Samsung SF-760P Monochrome Laser Fax/Multifunction Printer. These printers offer cost-savings, speed and reliability for home or business use.
Kwon adds, “Samsung is committed to ecologically-sound product innovation; and this is easily reflected within our unique features such as the Easy Eco Driver that allow efficient use of toner and paper, while allowing users to save up to 75-percent on paper usage and 50-percent on energy consumption, reducing carbon dioxide emission and electricity usage.”
